Glenn Hughes autobiography published in 2010
In early 2010, Glenn Hughes published an autobiography. The work, which since 2006 has been co-written by Joel McIver, the renowned writer of rock is called "The Life, Near Death and Rebirth of a Rock Star: Deep Purple & Beyond" and will include an introduction Lars Ulrich, drummer of Metallica.
The book will appear in two versions:
a) The regular edition (which only includes the book in paperback) and of which only 400 copies will be printed, and
b) A second edition of luxury, which only 100 copies were printed, including numerous photos, an EP 10 " Gift vinyl, autographs and dedications of Glenn Hughes and Joel McIver, and a special invitation to Glenn for the book buyer to attend a concert in Europe or North America and even the opportunity to meet in person.
The publisher responsible for publishing the work is Foruli Publications, which is now accepting reservations for those wishing to make the deluxe edition of the work.
"The Life, Near Death and Rebirth of a Rock Star: Deep Purple & Beyond" includes contributions from David Coverdale and Tony Iommi and Angie Bowie, John Varvatos, members of The KLF (with whom Hughes recorded in successful 1991 America: What Time Is Love? "), among others.
