Free Software is the name of free software that gives users of its product purchased and therefore, once obtained, can be used, copied, studied, modified and redistributed freely. According to the Free Software Foundation , free software refers to the users' freedom to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software, more precisely, it refers to four freedoms of software users: the freedom to use the program for any purpose, to examine how the program works, and adapt to the needs, to redistribute copies so you can help others, and to improve the program and make public improvements, so the whole community benefits (for the second and last freedom mentioned, access to source code is a prerequisite).
Free software is usually available free or at cost for distribution through other means, but it is not mandatory and therefore must not associate free software "free software" as retaining its character free, you commercial distribution (commercial software). Similarly, the "free software" or "free" sometimes including source code, however, this type of software is not free in the same sense as free software, unless they are guaranteed the right to modify and redistribute of these modified versions of the program.
