One year has held the traditional climb the Prados del Rey, walking, running and cycling, and a year, there have been the Romeros, along with many other partners, giving color to the test and getting unexpected protagonists of many photo essays have been published.
This year the weather was not at all, although in the first stage the temperature was smooth, at the summit was very cold by the presence of snow, the wind was also present throughout the climb, being more intense the closer we approached the summit. As usual

Rise of the Sierra de Baza
Open Now you can register at the XXI People Rise to the Sierra de Baza to be held next Monday November 1 , not Sunday, as erroneously published earlier (I apologize).
There is a forecast of 250 participants in the three existing modes: walking, running or cycling. This is an initiative organized by the city of Baza in collaboration with a local sports facility.
Entries can be made at the municipal sports pavilion until the 29th of October and are priced at three euros.
testing, not competitive, running through two different routes: the route for those who decide to walk passes through the GR 7 with an approximate distance of 30 kilometers, and secondly the way for those who prefer to go running or bike is traversed by the traditional way up, about 32 kilometers (Added to "The Meadows").
Hopefully this year will not be repeated incidents occurring at the arrival last year and that the organization is not denied to any participant and restorative energy drink on arrival at the summit.

The layout of the Jauca, Hilary, Higueral Cela leaving the neighborhood of the East, and return by the same name Rambla, Rambla de Pozo Lobo, Los Cristinas and Sell Angulo is of spectacular beauty, ideal for mountain biking / mtb, and if it's between friends, the better.
The headwind became a star in the second third of the route, where everyone showed up as they went their forces. Congratulations to the reinstatement
who completed the route without incident.

Sunday, 18 bikers came together thanks to the reinstatement of colleagues who did not go since before spring.
route back to the Sierra de Baza, the wonder that nature has placed us next door at present is in full autumn splendor and allows us to enjoy bright days btt. On this occasion Bastidas, Balsillas, Pocop, Arroyo de la Tejera, Pinarillo and return to the road Escull by the well known "fan."
The plot's a bit long (75 km), broken legs, up and down continuously built up very hilly, and in my opinion, too much asphalt.
all realize the route without incident, it shows the physical preparation that gradually have acquired in recent outings, some more than others, though. Although "we hit a little rice" could enjoy a beer on arrival.
The photos correspond to Bastidas, Pinarillo and "fan."
The layout is similar to that published on other routes that I have inserted in the GPS sites.

hundred people attended the event "Bicycle Day", organized by the Sierra de Baza Ciclomontañera Society under the theme "+ bike" cars. " Participants were given a commemorative T-shirt that showed off during the tour while pedaling and various gifts bicycle sports equipment. On Sunday
hope that initiatives like this occur very most during the rest of the year and not reduced only to a Sunday, as I also take to reclaim our government and the expected cycle lanes greenway is taking too long.

.- Baza, Hijate station, and Millers Cerrón
pre-show, with great influx of bikers. Glad to see as companions to weeks that are incorporated back out. Baza ran from the station Hijate, hence the Alcóntar road from the Sierra de Baza in an amazing stretch we did not expect broken legs. Already in the Sierra de Baza Cortijo's descent into Cerron, fording the stream, completely dry at this time, Benacebada way after ravine in the Sierra, Balax boardwalk and Millers. The last section between wadi is fun. Comprehensive route that has a bit of everything to please all tastes.
