Lars Ulrich: "I volunteer to be the battery MKIII" HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009

Metallica's drummer, a great fan of the band, offered to be the battery of a possible meeting the classical training.

This is stated in an interview with Classic Rock magazine, which in its issue number 128 offers a special feature of Deep Purple 20 pages. They also highlights a possible meeting of the third formation of the band, a style as they have done a few dates "Heaven & Hell." In this band would not be Ian Paice, so Ulrich, Purple confessed aficionado, has been postulated as a possible substitute. Apparently, Glenn Hughes would be the liveliest of all to make this meeting, while Coverdale and Jon Lord, off the main tour but still active, also would climb on the bandwagon. Which would be harder to convince Ritchie Blackmore, a few months ago has released a new album with his project with his wife Candice Night.
